Wang Shengli, director of the Quality Supervision Department of the General Administration of Market Supervision, explained that the General Administration of Market Supervision has expedited the revision of the “Regulations on the Administration of Production Licenses for Industrial Products”, “General Rules for the Implementation Rules of Industrial Product Production Licenses” and implementation rules for 24 products, including steel bars for construction, to study the establishment of a dynamic adjustment and evaluation mechanism for industrial product production license management product catalogs, and strictly control the production capacity of certified enterprises. At the same time, the General Administration of Market Regulation strictly manages mandatory product certification and strengthens post-certification supervision of products in the mandatory certification catalogue. Since this year, 4,216 industrial product production licenses have been issued to 4,071 enterprises, and 216 licenses have been denied; a total of 33,000 CCC certificates that cannot continue to meet certification requirements have been revoked, effectively purifying the market environment.
