On the evening of September 2, Vietnamese President Liang Qiang arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport to attend an event commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people in the War of Resistance against Japan and the World Anti-Fascist War. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam and the “Year of Cultural Exchange between China and Vietnam.” China and Vietnam are geographically connected, culturally similar, have the same people, the same system, and a related destiny. Over the past 75 years, the relationship between China and Vietnam has gone from the traditional friendship of “comrades plus brothers” to a strategically significant community of destiny, setting a model of friendship, mutual assistance, solidarity and cooperation between countries.
