At the event site, 7 electronic navigation map production units, including 4D Tuxin, jointly issued the “Proposal for Maintaining the Security of Surveying, Mapping, and Geographic Information” on behalf of the industry. Fourdimensional Map and other organizations jointly promised to further strengthen production safety management of surveying and mapping geographic information data, collect and process surveying and mapping geographic information data according to law and regulations, and increase the supply of data elements. Proponents and practitioners of surveying, mapping, and geographic information services refuse to illegally collect sensitive surveying and mapping geographic information data, do not transmit, label, or publish “problem maps” that endanger national sovereignty and territorial integrity, create a good atmosphere where the whole industry shares concerns and actively participates in maintaining the security of surveying, mapping, and geographic information, and consciously maintain the security of surveying, mapping, and geographic information.
