According to the WeChat account of “China FAW”, in August 2025, China FAW sold 277,800 vehicles, an increase of 3.7% over the previous year; 257,700 vehicles were produced. Among them, sales of independent brands were 77,000 units, up 15.3% year on year; sales of autonomous new energy vehicles were 34,800 units, up 66.9% year on year; and sales of joint venture brands exceeded 200,000 units. From January to August, the cumulative sales volume of FAW in China exceeded 2,081,300 units, an increase of 5.5% over the previous year.
