On July 30, local time, the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand issued an emergency notice announcing that from July 30 to August 15, the flight of any type of drone will be prohibited nationwide, covering both civil and commercial use, to prevent safety risks and cooperate with military and police combat operations. According to the announcement, during the flight ban period, any violator will be held criminally liable in accordance with the Aviation Law. The maximum penalty is 1 year in prison, or a fine of not more than 40,000 baht, or both. If the military determines that a drone poses a threat to national security, it has the right to shoot it down immediately.
