Bombardier rose more than 16% in Toronto on Wednesday to peak at 137.98 Canadian dollars, the biggest increase since Trump announced a 90-day suspension of tariffs on Canada and other countries on April 9. Bombardier announced on Monday that it has received an order, including 50 “Challenger” and “Global” aircraft, which are expected to begin delivery in 2027. The deal also allows first-time aircraft buyers to hold purchase options for 70 new aircraft, which could be worth as much as $4 billion if all purchases go smoothly.
