At 14:40 on July 1, Chengdu Airlines' EU2978 international passenger flight landed smoothly at Kashgar Laining International Airport, marking the official resumption of the international passenger route from Kashgar, Xinjiang, China to Huzhande, Tajikistan. The route is operated by a domestic C909 regional passenger plane independently developed by China. The one-way flight time is about 2 hours and 10 minutes. In order to meet market demand, especially during the peak tourist season in Xinjiang, the route is scheduled to operate on a regular basis, with a fixed round trip every Tuesday. Hu Zhande is the second largest city and important hub in Tajikistan. The resumption of flights has drastically reduced the travel time between Kashgar and Huzhande, significantly shortening the spatial and temporal distance between China's Xinjiang and Central Asian countries. It will not only facilitate personnel exchanges between the two sides, provide an efficient channel for international travelers, but will also strongly promote exchanges and cooperation between China's Xinjiang and Central Asian regions in the fields of economy, trade, investment, cultural tourism, etc.
