The reporter learned from the Ministry of Water Resources today that from 8:00 a.m. on July 1 to 8:00 p.m. on July 2nd, five small to medium rivers, including the Xiaojiang River, a tributary of the Yunnan Nanpan River, the Wuli River, a tributary of the Lancang River, the Zhongjian River, a tributary of the Qingjiang River, the Xiliushu River, a tributary of the Hulan River, and Wulonggou, a tributary of the Hulan River, occurred. The maximum overwarning range was 0.06 to 0.91 meters. Currently, most of the rivers have fallen below alert. The Ministry of Water Resources issued “one province, one order” targeted warnings to 10 provinces and regions, including Hebei, Liaoning, Jiangsu, Shandong, Chongqing, Sichuan, Yunnan, Shaanxi, Gansu, and Ningxia, reminding them to do a good job of preventing small and medium-sized river floods and flash floods, and safe flood relief for reservoirs and silt dams.
