According to data from the Ministry of Agriculture of Ukraine, the country's grain export season, which began in July 2024, has ended, with a total export volume of 40.6 million tons. This figure is nearly 21% lower than the same period last year. Specific export categories and year-on-year declines are as follows: 15.7 million tons of wheat, a decrease of 15% year on year; 2.3 million tons of barley, a decrease of 8.5% year on year; and nearly 22 million tons of corn, a decrease of 25.6% year on year. Note: According to data from the Ministry of Agriculture of Ukraine, the country completed spring planting in early June, and the sown area was the same as last year, at 5.6 million hectares.
