On June 30, 2025, the China Environmental Monitoring Station, in conjunction with the Central Meteorological Observatory, the National Air Pollution Prevention and Control Joint Center, the Northeast, South China, Southwest, Northwest China and Yangtze River Delta Regional Air Quality Forecast Center and the Beijing Ecological Environment Monitoring Center, held a national air quality forecast conference for the first half of July. In the first half of July, air quality in most parts of the country was dominated by excellent to mild pollution. Moderate ozone pollution may occur in the south-central part of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and surrounding regions, and the Yangtze River Delta. Southern Xinjiang is affected by dusty weather, and severe to severe pollution may occur.
