In May of this year, the number of Canadians driving to and back to the US fell sharply by 38.1% year on year. This is the fifth consecutive month of year-on-year decline. The number of people flying to and from the US also dropped sharply, down 24.2% from May last year. Coincidentally, Canadians' air travel to non-US markets has increased by nearly 10% compared to a year ago.
