Hexion + Smartech Announce SmartWax Entry into North American Market

COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Smartech, a Hexion company, announced its intention to enter the North American market with its SmartWax systems.

SmartWax is a proven equipment platform that transforms bulk wax into an oil-in-water wax suspension at the point of use, delivering more consistent coverage with up to 37% less material. The system eliminates the need for pre-emulsified waxes, reduces transportation and storage complexity, and enables better control over wax dispersion and board performance.
