Yesterday was the 18th International Archives Day. We learned from the Shenzhen Construction and Works Administration that while achieving many construction results in recent years, Shenzhen is speeding up the reform of paperless engineering files. As one of the first pilot projects for paperless management of engineering files in Shenzhen, Shenzhen Shucheng Bay District has passed the pilot acceptance of electronic file filing and electronic file management for the Shenzhen construction project. The Ocean University construction project under construction is also actively applying relevant management models, which will become one of the practical examples of paperless management of engineering files in Shenzhen. The Shenzhen Construction and Works Administration clearly lists paperless management of project files as a key task in the “Key Work Points for Archival Work 2025” to push the entire department's management model into the comprehensive promotion stage. At present, the department has established a file management system and digital platform, which is continuously being iteratively upgraded. Several pilot projects have begun piloting paperless file management and paperless office in the file management process, and have accumulated experience for future in-depth reform of archival work.
