Foreign investors bought $7.334 billion of 5-year US bonds, up from $7.804 billion last month; investment funds bought $54.515 billion of 5-year US bonds, compared to $50.110 billion last month. Foreign investors bought 5.938 billion US dollars of 2-year US bonds, compared to 6.618 billion US dollars last month; investment funds purchased 53.564 billion US dollars of 2-year US bonds, compared to 50.964 billion US dollars last month.
