In April, the overall retail sales penetration rate of new energy vehicles in China was 51.5%, an increase of 7 percentage points over the same period last year. In domestic retail sales in April, the penetration rate of new energy vehicles among independent brands was 72.8%; the penetration rate of new energy vehicles among luxury cars was 23.5%; while the penetration rate of new energy vehicles in mainstream joint venture brands was only 6.8%. Looking at the domestic retail share of domestic NEVs in April, the retail share of own-brand NEVs was 73%, up 0.4 percentage points year on year; mainstream joint venture brand NEV share was 3.4%, down 1.5 percentage points year on year; the share of new forces was 19.4%; brands such as Xiaopeng Motors, Zero Sports Auto, and Xiaomi Motors drove new forces to increase 3.6 percentage points year on year; Tesla's share was 3.2%, down 1.5 percentage points year on year.
