A Foreign Ministry spokesman announced on May 11 that, as agreed by China and Latin America, the 4th Ministerial Meeting of the China-Latin American and Caribbean Community Forum will be held in Beijing on May 13. President Xi Jinping will attend the opening ceremony of the conference and deliver an important speech. Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Foreign Minister, will preside over the meeting. Foreign ministers or representatives of CELAC member countries and heads of relevant regional international organizations will attend the conference.
