100-Year Old Hotel Trades in Golden

AJ Capital Partners has acquired its second hotel in Golden. Most recently, the Nashville-based company bought The Table Mountain Inn, at 1310 Washington Ave. in Golden, for $27 million. The Denver Business Journal reports the seller was listed as Frank Day, the owner of Concept Restaurants, who purchased the property in 1991. The Table Mountain Inn, located in downtown Golden, includes 74 boutique-style rooms. The hotel was built in 1923.

It’s the second transaction between the two entities. Earlier this year, AJ Capital Partners acquired the historic Hotel Boulderado from Day for $102 million.

Whether the Table Mountain Inn will join the Graduate by Hilton collection like Hotel Boulderado is not known. The collection, which focuses on “top-tier college towns,” was founded by AJ Capital Partners in 2014 and acquired by Hilton in 2024. Colorado School of Mines is located within blocks of The Table Mountain Inn.
