The General Administration of Customs announced today that in the first four months of this year, China's total import and export value of goods trade was 14.14 trillion yuan, an increase of 2.4% over the previous year. Among them, exports amounted to 8.39 trillion yuan, an increase of 7.5%; imports amounted to 5.75 trillion yuan, a decrease of 4.2%. In April, China's imports and exports of goods trade amounted to 3.84 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.6%. Among them, exports amounted to 2.27 trillion yuan, an increase of 9.3%; imports amounted to 1.57 trillion yuan, an increase of 0.8%.
