Colliers announced the grand opening of Dunkin’ at 1204 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia. The 1,700-square-foot space was leased by franchisee Brian McCauley of Shah Management Co.

A Colliers team, consisting of Senior Associate Alexandra Sayer and Broker Larry Steinberg, represented the landlord, Hawkins Way Capital, in the transaction.

The new location is situated beneath the Found Residences Philadelphia and steps from the new state-of-the-art 19-story Jefferson Honickman Center and Plaza. The Dunkin’ store at 1204 Chestnut Street is the first of two planned locations in the area, with a second store currently under construction at 10th and Chestnut.

The new store is expected to employ between 20 and 30 workers. According to the recent Colliers Retail Market Statistics report, Philadelphia had a vacancy rate of 4.2%, ranking fourth among the top 10 U.S. retail metro markets, demonstrating strong demand for retail space in the city.
