The “Mediteran Express” Ro-Ro ship, loaded with more than 2,500 domestic new energy cars, recently set sail at the Qingdao Port Dagang Company in the Shandong port and sailed to Central American countries. This is the first flight of the newly opened Ro-Ro operation route by Shandong Port Qingdao Port and Lianda Spacecraft Company. It marks the addition of a new channel to the global layout of serving new energy vehicles, injecting strong momentum into the expansion of domestic NEVs into the Central American market. Currently, Qingdao Port is speeding up the construction of an international transit center for automobiles. Dagang has opened 4 RoRo routes covering emerging markets such as East Africa, Central and North America, and Russia. The annual operating capacity is expected to exceed 600,000 cubic meters.
