Netanyahu told Macron that no Palestinian agency has so far condemned the attack on Israel by the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement on October 7, 2023, and that a Palestinian state “only a few minutes” away from the Israeli city will become a “stronghold of Iranian terrorism,” and “the vast majority of the Israeli public” is adamantly opposed to this.
