On April 16, the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics showed that in March, out of 70 large and medium-sized cities, the number of cities where housing prices rose month-on-month increased markedly, and the number of cities where new and second-hand housing prices rose month-on-month increased by 6 and 7, respectively. Meanwhile, new housing prices in first-tier cities continued to rise month-on-month, and second-hand housing prices changed from decline to increase month-on-month; the overall decline in housing prices in second- and third-tier cities narrowed month-on-month. It is worth noting that Shanghai led the month-on-month increase in new housing prices in the whole country, while Hangzhou ranked first in the month-on-month increase in second-hand housing prices.
