On the 15th, the US Consumer News and Business Channel published a questionnaire survey of 380 US companies and commercial institutions. The results show that although the Trump administration claims that a wave of manufacturing return is imminent, most companies and institutions surveyed believe that rebuilding the local US supply chain may double costs, and companies are more likely to seek a low-tariff national layout on a global scale. 61% of businesses and institutions say moving the supply chain to a lower tariff country is more cost-effective than moving back to the US. Among companies unwilling to move back to production, 57% cited cost as the primary reason, and 21% said the biggest challenge was the difficulty of finding skilled workers.
