According to the Zhitong Finance App, Shengnong Development (002299.SZ) announced that the company achieved sales revenue of 1,532 billion yuan in March 2025, an increase of 0.92% over the same period last year, and an increase of 33.91% over the previous month. Among them, chicken sales revenue in the poultry breeding and processing sector was 1,180 billion yuan, up -2.34% from the same period last year, and 41.10% month-on-month; sales revenue from the deep-processed meat products sector was 659 million yuan, up 13.08% from the same period last year, and 31.20% month-on-month.

In terms of sales volume, chicken sales in the poultry breeding and processing sector in March were 123,400 tons, a change of -0.06% over the same period last year, and an increase of 44.29% over the previous month; the sales volume of products in the deep-processed meat products sector was 33,600 tons, up 29.25% from the same period last year, and 31.70% month-on-month.

From January to March, the company's sales volume increased steadily in various segments. Among them, the cumulative sales volume of raw food products increased by about 3%, the cumulative sales volume of deep-processed products increased by about 9%, and the proportion of deep-processed products continued to increase. In terms of cost, the new-generation self-developed chicken “Shengze 901 Plus” continues to be optimized in terms of key indicators such as the feed-to-meat ratio, and the proportion of self-use within the company continues to increase, driving costs to continue to decline. In addition, the company continues to promote lean management. The company's comprehensive meat production cost in the first quarter of 2025 decreased by about 10% compared to the same period in 2024. At the same time, the company has shown greater resilience in product prices through excellent service, excellent product strength, and continuous optimization of the sales structure.
