On April 15, 2025, the Sanming Intermediate People's Court of Fujian Province publicly ruled in the first instance in the case of Yin Meigen, former deputy party group secretary and deputy director of the Jiangxi Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee. Defendant Yin Meigen was sentenced to death for bribery, suspended for two years, stripped of her political rights for life, and confiscated all of her personal property; the proceeds of Yin Meigen's crime and profits recovered in the case were surrendered to the national treasury according to law.
