The Zhitong Finance App learned that in March 2025, the China Automobile Association issued a document stating that in March 2025, passenger car production and sales completed 2.574 million units and 2.468 million units, respectively, up 44.2% and 36% month-on-month, and 14.4% year-on-year, respectively. From January to March 2025, passenger car production and sales reached 6.513 million units and 6.419 million units respectively, up 16.1% and 12.9%, respectively.

Companies intensively launched new products and diversified promotional activities. The passenger car market continued its good trend. The wholesale sales volume of manufacturers grew rapidly, and terminal sales gradually picked up.
