Tishman Speyer has secured full construction financing for 50 Hudson St., the second of a two-tower residential development along Jersey City’s waterfront. After closing on a $331-million construction loan led by CDPQ, Tishman Speyer expects to commence this spring, with completion anticipated for 2028.

Located directly along the Hudson River, the 40-story tower will encompass 924 rental apartments with a mix of studios, one- and two-bedroom homes. The developer is also progressing on construction of the first phase of the project at 55 Hudson St., which will contain 1,017 rental apartments and is expected to open in early 2027.

Tishman Speyer’s collaborators on the project included Handel Architects, Marchetto Higgins Stieve Architects, landscape architects Hollander Design and Melillo Bauer Carman and interior designer Michaelis Boyd. A joint venture between Noble Construction and Hunter Roberts will serve as the general contractor for 50 Hudson.
