On April 14, local time, the US energy company NextDecade announced that it had reached a sales agreement with Total Energy for liquefied natural gas production line 4 of the Rio Grande LNG project. Total Energy has exercised the purchase option, and the two companies' subsidiaries have signed a long-term LNG sales agreement for the acceptance of Production Line 4. Under the agreement, Total Energy's subsidiary will purchase 1.5 million tons/year of liquefied natural gas for a period of 20 years.
