The National Standardization Administration recently revised and promulgated the “Administrative Regulations on National Standardization Guiding Technical Documents”. The National Standardization Guidance Technical Document is a standardized technical document that adapts to the rapid development of scientific and technological innovation, supports and guides the promotion, trial, and diffusion growth of innovative technology when relevant scientific research results do not yet have the conditions to formulate national standards. It is an important supplement to national standards. The revised “Administrative Regulations” have four innovations: one is to increase the types of documents; the second is to implement a registration system for project initiation; the third is to adjust the proportion of people who voted for the technical review; and the fourth is to speed up development. After the promulgation and implementation of the “Administrative Regulations”, it will broaden channels for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, enrich standardized document forms, improve supply efficiency, promote the establishment of a standard system leading the development of emerging industries, and help the rapid transformation of innovative achievements into industrial competitiveness.
