The Israeli Prime Minister's Office issued a statement on the 11th saying that representatives of the Israel Defense Forces held talks with representatives of the United States, France, and Lebanon in Naqoura in southern Lebanon on the same day on issues such as the “blue line” of the temporary border between Israel and Lebanon. The statement said that the talks decided to establish three joint working groups with the aim of stabilizing the situation in the region. The working group will focus on three issues: the five strongholds controlled by the Israeli army in southern Lebanon, the issue of the “Blue Line” and other disputed sites, and Lebanese personnel detained by Israel. The statement also said that after coordination with the US side, Israel agreed to release the five Lebanese detained by it.
