Qiutai Technology (01478) sold a total of 23.911 million camera modules in February, a decrease of 33.4% month-on-month and 16.7% year-on-year

Zhitong Finance App News, Qiu Tai Technology (01478) announced that in February 2025, the sales volume of mobile phone camera modules was 22.914 million units, down 34% from the previous month and 18% from the previous year; the total number of camera module sales was 23.911 million, a decrease of 33.4% month-on-month and a decrease of 16.7% year-on-year. The total sales volume of fingerprint recognition modules was 13.724 million units, a decrease of 17.7% month-on-month and an increase of 153.7% year-on-year.

According to the announcement, the month-on-month decrease in sales of camera module products was mainly due to the Spring Festival holiday. The year-on-year decrease was mainly due to customer project cycles and the Group's continued focus on mid-range and high-end products as the core product strategy, which reduced acceptance of camera module projects below 32 megapixel.

The month-on-month decrease in sales volume of fingerprint recognition module products was mainly due to the Spring Festival holiday, while the year-on-year increase was mainly due to the Group's ultrasonic fingerprint recognition module projects entering large-scale mass production one after another and increasing market share in the fingerprint recognition module business.
