Canadian fashion retailer Aritzia has opened a new SoHo Flagship Boutique at GFP Real Estate’s 560 Broadway in SoHo, signing a lease extension and taking additional space within the building. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.

GFP Real Estate representatives Neith Stone, Donna Vogel and Jeffrey Gural represented ownership, while Ariel Schuster and Jason Wecker of Newmark represented Aritzia. “Aritzia’s expansion on 560 Broadway is a testament to the building’s premier corner location and its ability to cater to high-profile retailers,” said Stone. “Aritzia’s decision to extend and expand its lease shows their faith in SoHo as a thriving retail hub.”

Ahead of its opening, Aritzia has supported extensive renovations at 560 Broadway, including new escalators and updates to the ground floor. Built in 1884 and designed by architect Thomas Stent in a neo-Grecian style, 560 Broadway is a six-story, 175,000-square-foot boutique office building in SoHo’s cast-iron historic district.
