China Construction Machinery Industry Association: Sales of 19,369 excavators of various types increased 16% year-on-year in December

The Zhitong Finance App learned that according to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major excavator manufacturers, 19,369 excavators of various types were sold in December 2024, an increase of 16% over the previous year. Its sales volume in China was 9312 units, up 22.1% year on year; export volume was 1,057 units, up 10.8% year on year.

In 2024, a total of 201,131 excavators were sold, up 3.13% year on year; it sold 100,543 units, up 11.7% year on year; exported 100,588 units, down 4.24% year on year.

In December 2024, 9 electric excavators were sold (8 units below 6 tons, 1 unit of 18.5 to 28.5 tons).

According to statistics from the China Construction Machinery Industry Association on major loader manufacturers, 9410 loaders of various types were sold in December 2024, a decrease of 0.08% over the previous year. Its sales volume in China was 4501 units, down 19.6% year on year; export volume was 4,909 units, up 28.5% year on year.

In 2024, a total of 108,209 loaders of various types were sold, an increase of 4.14% over the previous year. Its sales volume in China was 54,326 units, down 3.94% year on year; export volume was 5,3883 units, up 13.8% year on year.

In December 2024, 854 electric loaders were sold (2 3-ton units, 722 5-ton units, 115 6-ton units, 15 7-ton units).
