Zhitong Finance App News, Dow Technology (300409.SZ) announced that the company and Foshan Solid State Qihui Equity Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership) (“Solid Qi Hui”) signed a “Joint Venture Agreement” to jointly fund the establishment of Guangdong Dow's Solid State Battery Technology Co., Ltd. (actually subject to approval and registration by the market supervision and management department, “Dow Solid State” for short). The two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in the development and industrialization of sulfide solid-state battery electrolytes, and continue to iterate and optimize solutions for all solid state battery materials.

According to reports, the joint venture will focus on the development, optimization, and industrialization of solid electrolyte materials, and combine Dow's technology's product advantages in materials such as single-walled carbon nanotubes, high-nickel ternary precursors, lithium-rich manganese-based precursors, and silicon-based anodes used in solid-state batteries to form an all-material solution for solid-state batteries. At the same time, develop and optimize lithium sulfide formulations and production processes, greatly reduce manufacturing costs, and promote industrialization.
