Rome Metaverse Group (08072) announced interim results. Shareholders' share loss of HK$3.996 million increased 8.41% year-on-year

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Roma Metaverse Group (08072) announced results for the six months ended September 30, 2024. The group achieved revenue of HK$21.45 million during the period, a year-on-year decrease of 7.23%; losses attributable to the company's owners were HK$3.996 million, an increase of 8.41% over the previous year; and the basic loss per share was HK10.2 HK cents.

According to the announcement, for the six months ended September 30, 2024, the Group's provision of assessment and consulting services contributed about 73.4% of the Group's total revenue. Service fee revenue from the provision of assessment and consultancy services increased by 40.3% from approximately HK$11.2 million for the six months ended 30 September 2023 to approximately HK$15.7 million for the six months ended 30 September 2024. The increase was mainly due to the active investment market climate in Hong Kong, China, which led to an increase in mergers and acquisitions, and an increase in the number of projects involved.
