Jiancheng Holdings (01630) is expected to have a profit of about HK$9.5 million after tax in the medium term

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Jiancheng Holdings (01630) announced that the Group will earn profit of about HK$9.5 million after tax for the six months ending September 30, 2024, compared with a loss of about HK$6.5 million compared to the same period last year.

The main reason for turning a loss into profit was approximately HK$19.7 million in unrealized gains and dividend income from trading securities collected by the Trading and Investment Business Division, while losses of approximately HK$5.2 million were recorded in the same period last year.
