According to the Israeli military, the commander is Ahmed Soubi Hazima, who is responsible for Hezbollah's operations in the southern coastal region of Lebanon. The Israeli military said that Hazima replaced the former commander who died in an attack on November 17. He launched numerous attacks against Israel from the southern and western regions of Lebanon, including infiltration and anti-tank missile attacks.
