According to the Zhitong Finance App, Mushi International (00130) announced the results for the six months ended September 30, 2024. The group achieved a profit of HK$505.71 million, a year-on-year decrease of 21.74%; the company's holders' losses were HK$236.05 million, an increase of 54.45% year on year; and a loss of HK$0.08 per share.

All of the Group's businesses in various regional markets recorded a decrease in revenue during the period. Revenue from its Hong Kong business fell 25% year-on-year to about HK$29 million; in mainland China, the Group's revenue in domestic business fell 10% to about HK$13 million due to falling consumer demand and weakening of the local currency RMB against Hong Kong dollars; its business in Macau, China was affected by the relocation or closure of stores, causing revenue from the local business to drop 34% to about HK$5 million; the revenue from the Group's Taiwan business fell slightly to about HK$4 million.
