GC CONSTRUCTION (01489) announced interim results. Shareholders' losses of HK$7.164 million changed from year to year

According to the Zhitong Finance App, GC CONSTRUCTION (01489) announced interim results for the six months ended September 30, 2024. The group achieved a profit of HK$265 million, a year-on-year decrease of 6.2%; the company owner should have accounted for a loss of HK$7.164 million, and a profit of HK$16.614 million in the same period last year; a loss of 0.7 HK cents per share.

According to the announcement, the decline in revenue was due to a decrease in the number of projects and a reduction in the budget of some general contractors due to fluctuations in the real estate market.
