Shimao Group (00813): Planned hearing scheduled to be held on January 16, 2025

Zhitong Finance App News, Shimao Group (00813) issued an announcement. In view of the progress of the plan's creditors joining the creditor support agreement announced earlier by the Company, the Company has applied to the Hong Kong High Court to hold a hearing to consider the Company's application to hold a creditors' meeting (planning to hold a hearing). The purpose is to consider and approve (with or without amendments) the plan as appropriate. The Planned Hearing is scheduled to be held on January 16, 2025 at 10 a.m. (Hong Kong time).

According to the terms of the creditor support agreement, the “final end date” means December 31, 2024 or a later date and time agreed by the Company and the main participating creditors or core participating creditors on the other, but the final end date may not be extended beyond June 30, 2025. In view of the scheduled hearing date and the progress of the proposed overseas debt restructuring, the Company has obtained the consent of the core participating creditors to amend the definition of “final end date” to “April 30, 2025, or a later date and time agreed between the Company and the main participating creditors or core participating creditors, but the final end date shall not be extended beyond June 30, 2025.”
