According to the Ministry of Commerce, on November 11, 2024, the Revenue Authority of the Ministry of Finance of India issued Notice No. 24/2024-Customs, accepting the positive anti-dumping ruling of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India on August 14, 2024 on epoxy chloropropane originating in or imported from China, South Korea, and Thailand, and decided to levy anti-dumping duties for a period of 5 years on the products involved in these countries, respectively: China 0-216 US dollars/ton, Thailand 298-327 US dollars/ton, and South Korea 274-557 US dollars/ton. See attached table for tax details. This case concerned products under Indian Customs Code 29103000. The measures take effect from the date this notice is published in the official gazette.
