On November 25, the Huangmao Sea Cross-Sea Corridor passed the inspection. It will soon officially “take up the job” in December this year, adding a new golden maritime channel to the connectivity of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The total length of the project is about 31 kilometers. It is connected to the Hegang Expressway in the east, the Xintai Expressway in the west, and intersects the Western Coastal Expressway. It has 2 main bridges: Gaolan Port Bridge and Huangmaohai Bridge. Among them, the Huangmaohai Bridge uses a three-tower cable-stayed bridge design. After completion, it will become the three-tower highway cable-stayed bridge with the largest span in the world.
