NYSE Arca, a part of the Intercontinental Exchange, said the new extended trading hours for its all-electronic trading platform NYSE Arca will be from 1:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. EST from Monday to Friday. Kevin Tyrrell, head of marketing at the New York Stock Exchange, said, “The NYSE's move to extend US stock trading hours to 22 hours a day, 5 days a week highlights the strength of the US capital market and the growing global demand for our listed securities.” It also said it will seek support from US securities information processing companies to expand the deal. These changes will be accompanied by regulatory updates, and the NYSE said it will submit an updated framework to the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
