Hong Kong Lands Department: Hong Kong's third-quarter land supplement revenue of $1,887 billion fell 18% from the previous quarter

The Zhitong Finance App learned that on October 15, the Hong Kong Lands Department announced that during the July-September quarter of this year, a total of 22 contract amendments and 2 land exchange cases were registered with the Land Registry. Of these, 5 were technical contract amendments that did not involve supplementing the land price amount. The total land price revenue from these land transactions was approximately RMB 1,887 million, a decrease of RMB 410 million or 17.9% compared to RMB 2,297 million in the second quarter.

Of the 24 land transactions mentioned above, 6 were located on Hong Kong Island, 14 were located in Kowloon and 4 were located in the New Territories. The figures did not include small house cases. There were no private agreement grants or additional lot registrations during the quarter.
