Guangdong Shenling Environmental Systems Co., Ltd. successfully won the bid for the Yangjiang Sanshan Island offshore wind power flexible direct transmission project. The Yangjiang Sanshan Island offshore wind power flexible direct transmission project will build a ±500 kV offshore converter station to transport wind energy from Yangjiang Sanshan Island offshore wind power to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area through 500 kV DC submarine cables and DC overhead lines. The project breaks the rules and uses a large-scale offshore wind power integrated sea-land DC transmission technology solution to solve the problem of large-scale, deep-sea wind power transmission from the source.
