CHICAGO, Sept 27 (Reuters) - Basis bids for U.S. soybeans were mixed at Midwestern grain elevators and processing facilities on Friday as rains are expected to slow farmers' harvests in the eastern Midwest, grain brokers said.
* Harvesting is expected to pick up pace in the western Midwest due to favorable weather, while rains cause delays in the center, southern and eastern Corn Belt, brokers said.
* It is full speed ahead for harvesting west of the Mississippi River, a dealer added.
* The soy basis jumped at a crush plant in Lafayette, Indiana, and at a port location in Toledo, Ohio.
* In Council Bluffs, Iowa, a grain elevator lowered its basis bids by 10 cents per bushel for soybeans and 3 cents for corn.
* A river location near Davenport, Iowa, also lowered its soy bid by 3 cents.
* Farmers have been active sellers of soybeans and slower to sell corn recently, dealers said.
* Chicago Board of Trade soybean Sv1 and corn Cv1 futures reached two-month highs on Friday. GRA/
* On Monday, analysts surveyed by Reuters on average expect the U.S. Department of Agriculture to report the largest Sept. 1 stocks of U.S. corn, soybeans and wheat in four years.
