Federman & Sherwood investigates Amgen, Inc. for data breach. Amgen became aware of a cybersecurity incident that involved one of their service providers, Sirva Relocation, LLC and its parent company Sirva, Inc. Sirva was provided personal information for processing on behalf of Amgen. Around September 29, 2023, Sirva noticed unusual activity on their network. Sirva began an investigation, which concluded August 8, 2024, into the incident and determined that between August 16, 2023, and October 17, 2023, an unauthorized third-party accessed and copied files containing personal and sensitive information of certain individuals.
