** Jefferies raises PT to $264 from $232, representing a 48% premium to TLN's last close

** Following Constellation Energy's CEG.O recent deal to help restart a nuclear power plant, Jefferies says it remains bullish on prospects for Talen

** Brokerage expects another data center deal to potentially be announced in near term

** Earlier this year, Talen had announced deal to sell electricity to Amazon's AMZN.O data center campus in Pennsylvania

** Brokerage expects TLN to announce natural gas power purchase agreement (PPA) soon, says "while nuclear has attracted most of the attention so far, we think gas is also going to be part of the solution"

** Jefferies expects pricing (for natural PPA) to be lower, given lack of zero-carbon attributes, but adds upside for gas plants is higher utilization, whereas nuclear plants are already running at full capacity
