Former finalist and eighth seed Casper Ruud fought back from two sets down to beat Shang Juncheng 6-7(1) 3-6 6-0 6-3 6-1 in the third round. The Norwegian faces American eighth seed Taylor Fritz in the fourth round.
0123 NAKASHIMA KNOCKS OUT MUSETTI
Brandon Nakashima came from 4-0 down in the fourth set to claim a shocking 6-2 3-6 6-3 7-6(4) win over Italian 18th seed Lorenzo Musetti and reach the fourth round for the first time.
The American, who also upset 15th seed Holger Rune in the first round, will face the winner of the later clash between Tomas Etcheverry and Alexander Zverev.

Frances Tiafoe, the 20th seed, came out on top in a five-set thriller against fellow-American, 13th seed Ben Shelton, winning 4-6 7-5 6-7(5) 6-4 6-3.

Bulgarian seed Grigor Dimitrov carved out a comfortable 6-3 6-3 6-1 win over Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor to set up a fourth round showdown with Russian Andrey Rublev.

Sixth seed Rublev beat Czech Jiri Lehecka 6-3 7-5 6-4.
1955 NAVARRO THROUGH TO PLAY GAUFF
American 13th seed Emma Navarro enjoyed a 6-4 4-6 6-3 win over Ukrainie's 19th seed Marta Kostyuk, and advances to meet defending champion Coco Gauff in the fourth round.

Spanish 26th seed Paula Badosa came from a set down to win 4-6 6-1 7-6(8) against Romanian qualifier Elena-Gabriela Ruse and advances to the fourth round of the U.S. Open for the first time in her career.
1632 ZHENG ROUTS NIEMEIER
Seventh seed Zheng Qinwen of China beat German Jule Niemeier 6-2 6-1 to reach the fourth round.
"Finally I have won a match in two sets, I was focused since the beginning," the 2024 Olympic champion and Australian Open finalist said after the match.
"It has been easy for me here right after the Olympic Games. I don't know if they will put me in Granstand again, I hope . I lost against Jule in midnight in 2022 US Open third round. I am glad I am the winner today and I don't have to cry."
