** Brent crude futures LCOc1 down 1.4% at $78.86 a barrel; U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude CLc1 falls 2.4% to $74.07 a barrel pressured by concerns of more supply entering the market from OPEC+

** Oil majors Chevron CVX.N and Exxon Mobil XOM.N down 0.7% and 1.2%, respectively

** Marathon Oil MRO.N, EOG Resources EOG.N, Diamondback Energy FANG.O and APA APA.O down between 1.7% and 2.7%; among top pct. losers on the energy index

** Oilfield equipment and services operators Baker Hughes BKR.O and Halliburton HAL.N down 1.3% and 1.4%, respectively
